Youth Work SA Code of Ethics Training

Supporting Youth Workers with a code of ethics; a valuable tool for supporting quality youth work practice.

Youth Work SA exists to develop professional Youth Work practice across South Australia to ensure high quality support for young people. Part of the existence of Youth Work SA is to support Youth Workers with a code of ethics, which helps to “maintain relationships that are truthful and honest, which generally become more helpful and life-giving … with a vision of working truthfully, compassionately and with a commitment to the highest possible form of care for both the client and the self.” (Dr. Phil Daughtry, 2014, Working With Young People Part 1).
