About the conference
The conference happens every two years at Ridley College in Melbourne. Gather with other women in the biblical and theological academic space. In case you’ve never attended an academic conference, they are a little different to church conferences, people submit and present academic papers (the kind that you might reference in assignments) then the floor is open for discussion with the presenter. There are keynote speakers and breakout sessions where you can decide which to attend based on the topics that interest you.
This will look a little different being an online conference. But the awesome thing about the conference being online this year is you get access to ALL the pre-recorded breakout presentations prior to the conference. You never normally get to hear all the breakout presentations when you are at these conferences in person.
Tabor staff and students are presenting papers which is awesome. This is an incredible opportunity to see what is happening in the academic space, meet other women who are passionate about theological study and attend a conference you would usually need to go interstate for! We would love to see you there.
