Leading Tertiary Education in Australia - 2025 QILT Survey Results

Tabor College Leads the Nation in Student Experience and Satisfaction

Each year, the Australian Government conducts the Quality Indicators for Learning and Teaching (QILT) survey to assess higher education institutions across the nation.

In 2024, thousands of students from universities and higher education providers participated in the survey, revealing valuable insights into the student experience. The results — released in the 2025 QILT Report — once again show Tabor College as a standout performer, surpassing national averages and earning top rankings in key areas.

National Excellence in Student Experience

Tabor ranked 9th in Australia for Overall Quality of Educational Experience at the undergraduate level, and 7th nationally at the postgraduate level.

Among comparable Christian higher education providers, Tabor ranked #1 in the nation for Quality of Educational Experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

 

Tabor also placed First nationally for:


#1 in Australia for Teacher Education
Tabor’s Faculty of Education continues to shine, ranking 1st in Australia for Quality of Educational Experience at the  undergraduate level, with a score of 94.2 — well ahead of the next closest college (91.5).

The Faculty of Education also achieved:
1st in Australia for Teaching Quality
1st in Australia for Student Support
1st in Australia for Skills Development

 

Outperforming South Australian Universities

Tabor outperformed all three South Australian public universities — Flinders University, the University of Adelaide, and the University of South Australia — in Quality of Educational Experience and Graduate Satisfaction at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels

The QILT survey assesses higher education institutions across six key areas of the student experience: Overall Quality of Educational Experience, Teaching Quality, Learner Engagement, Learning Resources, Student Support, and Skills Development.

Tabor has consistently outperformed national averages in these areas, reinforcing its reputation for delivering exceptional education.
