Welcome to Thinker, the Faculty of Education publication of Tabor. We are excited to connect with you, our valued audience of educators, school administrators, parents, and prospective students.
At Thinker, our goal is to support your pursuit of excellent Christian education and transformative learning for students. Our second edition is centered around "Thinking about Teaching" and is carefully crafted by our Teacher Education faculty and lecturing staff to provide insights on various aspects of teaching.
Our collection of articles covers a range of topics, including belonging, indigenous teaching methods, creativity, differentiation, research and teaching connections, and critical pedagogy. In addition, we feature book reviews, introductions to some of our staff, and snapshots of what's happening at Tabor. We hope that these thought-provoking pieces will inspire you and spark new ideas to enhance your teaching practices.
We are dedicated to offering opportunities for professional development and micro-credentialing, which can lead to a Master of Education or a Master of Leadership. Tabor Ascend offers various topics, such as Neuroscience for Engaged Learning and PeRL Original, a publication on Tabor's Pedagogies that enable Redemptive Learning. Keep an eye out for the third edition of Thinker, which will delve deeper into these subjects.
Whether you're an educator seeking professional growth, a school administrator searching for innovative ideas, a parent looking to understand the latest educational trends, or a prospective student interested in our programs, we hope that you find value in our publication.
Thank you for being a part of our education community.
